We’re raising funds to build a permanent covered outdoor patio and classroom space at The Statesboro Food Bank.

This area will expand their ability to serve families safely and efficiently year-round. The covered patio will be used for food distribution during high-demand days, emergency response efforts, and community programs like nutrition classes, container gardening workshops, children’s activities, and the Winter Market.

This project directly supports the Food Bank’s growing demand. Meal box distribution has more than doubled in the past year, and provides the weather-protected space needed to keep volunteers and families safe. It also creates a flexible, welcoming area for education and resiliency programming.
